You better watch out you better watch out you better watch out [Open to ALL]
Who: Nicholas D- I mean Saint Nick and YOU, and you and you and-
What: Ydalir has tasked Wolfwood with spreading holiday cheer by delivering gifts to everyone in the Grove. Literally everyone, get in here
When: I am forward dating this to Christmas (Dec 25th)
Where: Everywhere probably
Warnings: None other than WW's mouth, will edit if that somehow becomes necessary
[You know, Wolfwood was under the impression you could just. You know. ASK for things here, or pay for them with Money, and just. Get them? That's how most people are getting things?? That's how he got his cigarettes, it's how Vash got him even more plus booze and candy, so sue him if he thought he could go to Ydalir and have it be a similar deal. Not so, apparently.
Now, Wolfwood isn't an entirely cruel, unfeeling person. He just doesn't know how to express his emotions in ways that aren't completely self-destructive, and being asked to give presents to people he largely doesn't know is asking for a lot from Mr. Nick here. He doesn't really get the significance of the big fur coat he's being made to wear, but it is at least warmer than anything else he owns, and he's going to be doing a lot of back and forth through the snow to get to everybody. The only thing he's missing is a reindeer...
...anyway that is somehow how Wolfwood manages to find Moder and convince her to be his steed. Because- and the exchange goes exactly like this- he pointed at her accusingly and said "You OWE me". So. Here we are.
Every single person in the Grove, be they man, woman, child, plant, robot, or something inbetween, will be receiving a gift. How Nick finds you for this is up to you. Maybe he knocks on your Inn room door, maybe he finds you at your own house. Maybe you find him first, riding on Modor looking particularly put-upon with a huge sack on his back and a lit cigarette clutched between his teeth to light his way through the fog.
Saint Nicholas is coming to town and he is coming to GET you.]

[Whatcha doin at his door, buddy-o.]
What's up? Um— I can't fit Moder in the house, but do you want to come in where it's not so cold?

Wolfwood does feel kindof. Guilty, for how he acted at the meeting, at least in regards to Elsword. He never meant to stir up anything, and now it feels kindof Worse because he and Vash had a Moment and now Vash isn't talking to him, so. There's a lot going on in his head right now, and he thinks he deserves a present more than anyone right now.]
S'ok. She can wait for me outside, I won't stay long. I just got something to deliver.

But... but. It's alright. It's okay. Everything will be fine as long as he's still here to be overprotective.]
Okay. Come on in.
[The inside of his house is, frankly, pretty nice. Elsword makes a point of holding the door open for Wolfwood before straying into the kitchen — it's an open floorplan, so Wolfwood can sit on the couches or at the counter and they'll be able to talk. The house is made for multiple people, clearly.
He's going to give Wolfwood snacks.]

Wolfwood at least isn't heathen enough to sit on another man's countertops, though he isn't exactly pristine as he tracks snow inside, flakes falling from the shoulders of his coat as he goes. He won't sit, but he will just sort of...look around, because this house is bigger than any he's ever seen back home that could be considered personal living quarters. It's actually a little mind boggling.]
Your house is.......fucking big.
[He also cannot look at Elsword directly. Holy shit. Maybe this enchantment was a bad idea-]

[Rip.]
People move in and out. I have a free room now since Chung... disappeared. [ :( ] Otherwise I let people come in whenever they want and sleep on the couches.
[Elsword shoves some food across the counter at Wolfwood — dried jerky he's clearly been holding onto during the meat famine, and a pack of trail mix. And yeah, he might want to take those glasses off. It's half blinding bright El energy and half these writhing, gross black bits.]

...he also wouldn't be good at getting info on how this place ticks if he didn't ask questions about it, and unfortunately it's the practical side that ends up winning out. He will take his shades off though, perhaps for the first time Elsword has ever see, and hooks them on his collar as he takes some of that dried jerky to chew on. Santa isn't allowed to smoke (I assume because lol) so it'll be nice to have something to gnaw on.]
...hang on. What do you mean, "disappeared"?
no subject
[He's still standing, but he'll lean over the counter on the opposite side and place his chin in his burnt, not flowery, hand.]
Add disappeared once. He apparently went into the woods, and then I didn't see him for a couple months. When he came back, he was missing an eye. ...there's this place that, if you die, you get to go to. It's called "the Garden", and to return from it, you have to give something up. I guess he gave up one of his eyes, or maybe he lost it while he was in the forest, I dunno. He doesn't remember one of our friends either, though, when he did before.
That's what I mean by "disappeared".

He leans back on his heels, one hand stuffed in his pocket while the other holds a piece of jerky he's eating.]
So he didn't...leave. He was still stuck here, essentially.

Wolfwood scowls, popping the last bit of that jerky into his mouth.]
Maybe he went home, then. Your other friend, I mean.
