[ A few hours before the sun rises to it's fullest at noon, on a day in September before the Monsters Truly Come Calling But There Might Be a Faerie Or Two when it's particularly warm, Pure Vanilla will write a post. It's quick, and to the point. ]

I believe today would be our best bet at contacting Lady Beiwe. Considering the current state of her Church and it's defilement, I feel holding it in the Grove by her statue will be the best course of action. Of course, I am open to alternatives!

[ But really, unlike the giant statue for Ourania, there is nothing else yet for Beiwe. So anyone glancing out their windows will see Pure Vanilla dutifully drawing a large magic circle with radiating lines and symbols and a spot in the middle, in the dirt. He even moves Beiwe's statue to the middle (minotaur strength, yay!) and Ouraina's statue to a spot in one of the Cardinal Directions that symbolize the moon. A place of honor. There are places left open for others to add their own symbols, their own lines, and being as how it's in the dirt, it's easily changeable as more people show up. Add your magic knowledge or find a spot to sit inside the circle if you desire to speak to Biewe.

Or make garlands of her flowers, or make Sunny D or... something. They're winging it. ]

[ He might actually ask something of her, because he's staring at her Continuum Cog thoughtfully, his eyes actually open for once - Staff closed - as he studies it. Are the gummies it's spitting out... actually energy? It looks vaguely like Loop, in a way.

He noticeable does not look at her. Her Truth is a mess. Confusing, distorted, and twisted around itself and it makes his head hurt. Eventually he closes his eyes and approaches, his Staff opening. ]

Timekeeper Cookie, my friend, welcome. May I ask you something?

[It would be no surprise if the gummies look a lot like Loop - they actually are pure light encapsulated in sugar, effectively starlight. Continuum Cog itself has some similarities in its Truth to Timekeeper, in that it too was once something a lot more mundane that has been warped by Time. However, it's still a much simpler creature than her, and therefore not quite so much of a headache to observe - a silhouette of a normal cogwheel buried in its past, the flickering but stable duality of its nature as a singularity now.

Timekeeper notices that Pure Vanilla is careful not to place his eyes on her - but she is not surprised by this.]

Pure Vanilla Cookie. You certainly have a way of making such a gathering attractive! [There's sandwiches, and they're pretty good. That's literally all it took for her approval.] Of course, you may ask whatever you wish.

[ Thankfully looking at the Cog is like a mild sinus headache. Sadly, looking at Timekeeper is like a migraine kicking down the doors of his brain and screaming into it. It explains so much about her, however. She is truly fascinating.

And that is, by far, the nicest thing she's said to him yet. It makes his tail wiggle in pleasure. They will be friends yet, Timekeeper Cookie.

Pure Vanilla is a stubborn old man. ]

Thank you, my friend. Mayhap we may throw another gathering, one less formal, to enjoy yourself with? [ AKA more sandwiches. Her go ahead makes him smile and tilt his head. ] May I request you give some of your friends gummies to Lady Beiwe? I feel they may aid her.

I am sure you will have more parties to throw in time, whatever the reason. It is quite pointless to do so for my sake.

[But of course, she'll dismiss this with a wave of her hand and barrel straight on through to his question.]

Well, what did you think I brought Continuum Cog for? Not even I would show up empty handed. [She retrieves a small bag filled with the gummies from her hip pouch, handing it to Pure Vanilla. She'd specifically made sure her pet was in its white hole form for this - apologies to anyone wondering where various small inconsequential items have vanished to this morning.] Offer them as you need - they are light of the cosmos, whatever the Grove's magic may count that as.

[ He will take the bag, tucking his Staff into the corner of his arm so he can open it and remove one of the little gummies. He wonders if they will act like the Soul Jam, or the Moonstones for the Starbabies. He places the gummy back, thoughtful, as he carefully ties the bag to his wrist for now. ]

Thank you, my friend. If you come across any small shrines with small star animals, might I ask you to offer them some? Magic bolsters them, and they may offer a blessing.

Blessings, hmm? That is interesting to know.

[Will she actually do this? Well, probably at least once, to sate her curiosity if nothing else. But that is a problem for whenever she comes across one such shrine.

The gummies appear to have swirls of light inside them, not unlike a tiny galaxy in each one.]

With how much the magic here stems from celestial bodies, it is a wonder it was me who appeared and not someone like Moonlight Cookie. Although, what are the sun and moon if not the world's oldest timepieces, I suppose. I shall be curious to hear what Beiwe has to say to us.

Hm... with how connected she is to our Moon back home, I do wonder if Moonlight Cookie would be able to come through.

[ After all, while others here as associated with the Moon, Moonlight Cookie herself is made with portions of it. Or so it goes. He strokes his chin thoughtfully, and explains a bit more, because he doesn't know how much Timekeeper knows about what they found out with Ourania. ]

It is through Ourania that Heimr and the others sought to save our souls. They forced open a Rift through her, connected her to other Moons in other worlds, and sent us through. The Rift has never healed and still today connects all the Moons together. As our Moon Guardian, Moonlight Cookie being pulled through might destabilize our world violently.

[ Or create a very bizarre loop. A Moon pulled through a Moon. ]

I see! Yes, you are likely correct, in that case. Though I wonder if that also means Moonlight Cookie might have already been aware of this timeline, to some degree.

[Such a Rift being made through the moon would also explain why it was never something the Time Balance Department detected, she thinks to herself. Though, if there is the slightest chance that such destabilization could happen... well, that's a degree of chaos and destruction to their world that Timekeeper absolutely cannot condone.

All the more reason for her to see if she can find a way to pass a message back to her organization, and soon. For now, she'll file that thought away with the rest of her projects.]

Mmm! It's possible... Mayhap her slumber is for far more than simply keeping the City of Wizards preserved. Though she has awakened and offered to lend her strength to end Dark Enchantress Cookie's war, she still spends most of her time asleep. To keep the Moon in balance?

[ At least it doesn't seem like she's struck by the same rancor that the other Moons were. Gingerbraves account of her was kindness. ]

Closing the rift through Ourania is possible - either by convincing Heimr and the others to close it or by finding a way to close it ourselves. I do not know if that will stabilize the time rifts themselves, but we were assured it would slow the pull of souls back through. If not cut it off entirely.
