[Time gets... fuzzy, the longer they walk. Aside from pressing his free hand hard against the worst of the wounds, it doesn't do much. He won't die, but he's definitely on the verge of passing out. It grows harder to lift his feet out of the snow. Keeping his eyes open is also a struggle. Each blink seems to last longer and longer.
