Has anyone else heard a masculine voice prompting them to venture into the woods? The directions weren't specific, but it was almost as if I had an innate idea of where I was meant to go. When I tried to head in the general direction I was barred from going any further by that tall horned woman.

Hello everyone! Sorry to bother you all, but I thought it would be a good idea to put out a PSA of sorts.

If you end up going out into the forest, please be careful and watch where you step! I’m not sure how common they are around here since I’m still fairly new to this place, but earlier this morning while on patrol, I happened to find a hidden pit trap dug deep down and camouflaged with leaves. I’m going back tomorrow to mark it off a bit more clearly, but I figured I’d let everyone know just in case there happened to be more around!

You have all kept yourself quite busy the last month! Despite the dour environment, you managed to carve out your own little slices of… happiness with one another. As someone who believes the ties between people is the most valuable asset, period, I believe such displays should be celebrated.

It is far too quiet around here. To stave off the dread, I think we ought to play a little game. No need to leave your houses, of course. My liquor supplies are still recovering thanks to your antics the other week.

Instead, we are going to use our books here to play Two Truths and a Lie. Credit, of course, goes to our former (and esteemed) King Cyrene. You all seemed to have such fun picking at each other on a small scale, so let us do it to a much grander degree.

The rules are self-explanatory enough. Write two truths about yourself, and one lie about yourself. No, you cannot put all lies or all truths. Please respect the rules of the game. If I find out you did not, my bird will leave chalk in your bed.

Go have fun with one another. Enter as many times as you want, if you so wish. It is as young Urbain says. "I am not your dad."

i have a hypothesis to posit: if all of the food here tastes horrible and chalk-like, but the alcohol tastes semi-normal, what would happen if someone blended it together into a cocktail? would it be a chalktail, or would it circle back around to tasting good?

[Somewhere in the midst of the magical mishaps and the sleepless shenanigans, someone gets the terrible idea to visit the clocktower. Be a result of recklessness borne from a lack of sleep, or just the sheer need to put something obscene in his mouth, Luca winds up beside a certain pile of goo. For just a moment, he seems to second guess himself, consider turning away -

before he reaches down to scoop it right into his mouth.

The first, near ear piercing squawk that results from his efforts is due to the taste. It is absolutely awful, as one might expect. The second comes only a moment or two later, after much spitting and regret. A clump of hair falls out, landing on the ground beside Luca's feet.

If you're drawn to the noise, you might briefly see one Luca Aurelius streaking across the grove. Hair and feathers alike rain down on the ground behind him, a morbid and slightly hilarious trail leading to the bar. A handful of minutes later, some hastily scrabbled words appear on the netbook.]

I have fallen violently ill, it seems.
In the interest of not spreading a secondary plague, the bar will be closed for the foreseeable future. Please avoid the premises.

hi hi! i'm sure the majority of you don't know me, but i have a teensy-weensy time sensitive question that i'm hoping one of you might be able to answer!

so let's say that someone theoretically found some manner of creepy ooze corpse inside the clocktower that just got fixed and HYPOTHETICALLY decided to lick it and then - and again, purely hypothetical here - split into two. crazy, right? now would any of you know a way for those two... halves... to fuse back together?

also purely theoretical does anyone have a really long piece of rope that might, in theory, be long enough to tether to allow for some walking room while also making sure that a hypothetical half of yourself does not run off into the woods to never be seen again? (≧◡≦)
