[ Since Miss Christine isn't here, and Raoul is...well, he'd apparently pretty much eat anything, the food that he was alluding to was definitely some fish. The Feline remembered reeling in shock the first time he got one from the Shopkeeper, since the fish had three eyes when he took it out of the paper bag, but he knew not to waste any food partially thanks to the Troupe's teaching.
Now he'd gotten quite used to it, especially since they tasted not that different from normal fish, and depending on how you cook them, they could be delicious, too.
Either way, he was offering some of that to Felicity. He still had some eggs, vegetables, and fruits, besides...it wasn't as if he'd starve for the day. As a matter of fact...he's been eating more and regularly here in the Grove rather than back in Rhodes Island, although that was mostly due to the fact that he avoided the staff cafeteria like the plague. Still does, even after nearly four years of working and living there.
That aside...the purr was very much appreciated, and Phantom continued to stroke her soft, beautiful fur gently, his own smaller tail swaying gently under his cloak. ]
It's alright if you aren't hungry. The food isn't going away. You could go back to sleep if you'd like...you are safe now.
[ His words fell like soft rainfall, and he falls quiet after that, although he continued caressing her black fur softly. The room was quiet, save for the sound of Raoul's snoring.
...Honestly, he would have hummed her a lullaby if he could, but...he was afraid that his voice was going to affect her psyche. He didn't actually know if it'd affect beasts or if it'd simply wreck havoc on the minds and souls of creatures with sentience, and he most certainly wasn't aware yet that the black cat that he was stroking was actually a witch, but in any case, he's not taking the risk. Yes, even if the special suppressant had kept his true voice under wraps, at least to a certain degree. ]
My apologies if I cannot hum you a song. I am afraid my situation regarding that...was a little complicated.
