I care more about the people in my life than the general good or whatever. So while I don't want to do terrible things anymore, I also don't care if uninvolved people get hurt somehow. But my friends back home do. The way they're impacted is generally my main priority, followed by how they'll feel and how much it'll end up troubling me.
