Mizuki will very much notice that Callan is tracking him. As he goes into the cabin, Callan swims along the edge of the lake to follow him, even though he can't get out. As he's coming back to the wall, the Lake Guardian swims back around the perimeter of the lake again.

There's something panicked in his voice. Mizuki took a long time.
