[Sesa could have any number of reasons to be outside. Recently he's been doing a lot of not touching-grass because he has work to catch up on that didn't get done during their beach outing, but. You know! He had a good time! He's rejuvenated from the experience and is almost a bit sad to be going back to the Grove afterwards. It's nice knowing they can go back to the beach any time they would like, but it's not the same, he feels.
Ah well. He's been working in his workshop all morning, getting his things some semblance of organized so he'll be able to be productive when he goes back to whatever tinkering he has to do next. He's recently visited Ain's tailor shop to get his clothing patched. All normal, mundane things.
As normal and mundane as being outside for some fresh air.
Until he rounds the corner, and is met by the most bright, luminescent blue he's ever seen.
Except he has seen it before. He knows he has. It calls up a memory immediately to the forefront of his thoughts, of him knelt next to the river using his long claws to help pry open the lanterns keeping baby, injured seaborn trapped inside. He remembers gently pulling them out as they slid them safely into the arms of the river.
He's moving before the words leave his lips.]
Mizuki-
[His boots thunder across the grass as he rushes up to the scene, oblivious to the agony that's been sewn through the home just yards away, stretching all the way to out here...to where Mizuki is curled up in a little ball on the ground, looking impossibly small. Impossibly still.]
