Because Wolfwood decides he's going to show Flamebringer what he's messed with by swapping the gears on the Punisher, aiming the barrel far enough from Flamebringer so that he isn't actually in danger of getting shot, but will feel the fear of God about it regardless, and peppering the wall he was just standing against with a brief barrage of bullets.
It is scarily accurate for a machine gun. Like, the bullet pattern is super tight. If Wolfwood wanted this man dead, he would be.]
