Though, it's a silly thought, considering he knows where Affogato is. It's not just a hunch - the little Seaborn that he'd carried around with him is enough to let Mizuki know roughly where he is. Roughly, of course, being "somewhere vaguely in the forest". He doesn't know where, and combing through it in its entirety is a fool's errand, even if Mizuki heavily considers it on multiple occasions.
He'd been tossing pillows and blankets over his head whenever he wasn't being antsy, which is what he's in the middle of doing when Dark Cacao enters the building. He picks his head up just long enough for him to be heading over to the stairs that go up to Affogato's room...
