[ Ezell is normally pretty easy to spot in the dark. The glow of his wings and halo are usually a dead giveaway, but right now... it's actually kind o hard to see him. The glow is still there, but very faint. Perhaps because Ezell just doesn't want to be spotted. He's a mess. He knows he is. He just has to get out of the inn and go someplace else. Maybe the school or the archives or the rec center... just someplace that he can be alone for a bit and get himself sorted. He has to think about how he's supposed to talk to Flamebringer later, or... if he can even bring himself to see him ever again. Not because of what Ezell did, but because of how much it hurts to see him so apathetic and... un-Flamebringer-like.
He doesn't hear his name through the storm, though he's also just lost in his own thoughts. How had he fallen for this stupid Sarkaz who's first impression was being threatened by him? How had he gone through such an array of emotions in such a short time? How... is he going to deal with this when they go back home? He wanted Flamebringer to meet Cecelia. He wanted to try and talk to Federico about dropping his charges. He wanted to take more naps with Flamebringer and learn about his garden on the landship. He wanted to make Flamebringer breakfast and make sure he'd been taking his meds...
Fuck. His meds. He'd have to go give them to him here, too? That's-
Before he's able to spiral on that train, he's being spun, blinking haphazardly at Flamebringer and opening his mouth to ask him why he followed or tell him that he really needed to stay inside from the rain or
............
Ezell's pretty sure his tears don't stop, even when his kiss is finally being returned, but he hopes it's hard to tell because of the rain. It's... not the best kiss in the world, considering they are both currently drenched and emotional, but all the same, Ezell visibly relaxes. After a moment, his eyes shut, and he lets all his anxieties and frets melt away into the kiss. ]
