As the two of you walk and talk, the path seems to grow a bit wider. Keen eyes may notice little stone lanterns hidden between roots and bushes, shedding a soft light that chases the corruption and fog away, leading all the way up to a little white marble shrine nestled into what appears to be an old weeping willow tree... if willow trees grew tiny white flowers that seemed to shine in the night. The way the lanterns are positioned make it seem like it's going up a set of stairs to it, and the little shrine shines brightly, a soft cool blue.
