( In the short window of time between arrival in the meadow and coming across his picture, Gara might've called himself curious, if irritated. Then came that picture of him, Gen, Yuki, and that guy.

He has shows to get to and now he's here, feeling sour and miserable and fucking angry that that's what he was greeted with.

His heart aches, doesn't feel like it'll stop.

When the tendrils of darkness crawl in over his vision, obscuring the sights around him, he almost wants to let it. It'd be easy to give in, right? Easier, better? A fucking break from something he couldn't seem to claw out of him or scream out of him no matter how hard he tried?

But then he's seeing that guy again — yo, Gara! — and he's friendly now as he was back then, but only for a moment.

He tells Gara all about himself, about how evil he is, just a biohazard, an anomaly. It's something he's embraced over the years, sure. Leaned into, played up. This, though ... Hearing it from the man he loves like a father, misses more than anything ... It hurts. )

Kakeru?

( And he's laughing and walking away and the tendrils just explode over his vision, blinding him — )

02. ) I'LL TAKE CARE OF YOU

( He really does have a beautiful singing voice. Guys like Gara might not seem like the performing types, or maybe its that the quality of his singing is in contrast to his singing ... Still. He needs to perform. Lives for it.

He sings a little, some surprisingly somber songs ( one // two ) given his outlandish and cyberpunky appearance. )
