There's a chance that the bulbous base of the stem where it was torn might be a good place for that. (I forgot this next part in the above reply to you, but—) If she were to cut into the plant a little further near that section in her search, something oozy, sticky, and black leaks out alongside the rest of the plant gunk, but there's very little of it. It's also very buried in the base of the stem as a whole, almost akin to what I would describe as "hidden capillaries" in a way.
