[Thorns knew he was last On A Boat. When he arrived here, he wasn't near the ocean (but he knows just from that creeping, crawling feeling he gets from them that there are Seaborn somewhere around him trying to tap into his brain) (please leave). There is an ocean, he walked to it, but no ships in sight other than one that looks like it was docked hundreds of years ago. If Juana and Weedy were here, they could fix it together... alas, he hasn't seen either of them.
Either way, he walks back to the Grove, fending off Wraiths the entire time in that blunt, no-nonsense way he does. His right arm where the Compass had fused to it is frozen solid, the metal so cold it's burning his skin where it connects. Try as he might, he can't get the alchemical components to obey him... so he presses on.
Somehow, he passes by the cafe initially and winds up in the lab. Gnosis promptly kicks him out (fair) (but rude), and so he wanders for a bit longer... avoids Flamebringer... says hi to Sesa in the bath house... winds up at the cafe. And before he notices Elysium, he notices— is that fucking Passenger— okay.
Then comes the impressively loud voice of his partner, and ah, yes, that's familiar to him. They haven't seen each other in several months, and their only communication has been with the devices that Elysium modified to travel long distances... Thorns just hopes that the Liberi doesn't see him creeping up behind him, or think to try to call again while he's doing so.
If Elysium is too occupied with his food and doesn't notice, Thorns will wrap his (fucking freezing) right arm around Elysium's neck and hold him in an (only somewhat gentle) chokehold. And then grind his fist into the top of his head.
B but wildcardy lmao
