Min-Gi Park | New Player, New Character

A BITTER ARRIVAL
[This isn't the first time that Min-Gi's woken up in a strange new place surrounded by snow and ice, but it's definitely the worst. He's alone, for starters. Besides the turtle, but it doesn't seem like he's getting much help there.

Honestly? He's not sure about approaching the lights of the town, but it's that or freeze to death. Or wait for whatever's imitating his voice to catch up to him. The lights are the only option that don't seem to have an inevitable outcome. Thankfully, the town doesn't seem immediately dangerous. Especially since between the snow and the voice that seems to have followed him here waiting outside isn't exactly an option.

When he stumbles into the inn, shivering and covered by a thick layer of snow, he has a whispered message for whoever happens to be nearest.]

I need to hide...

[That also feels like a strangely familiar situation, but this time there's no one here to be convincing for him. He jumps as he hears his voice outside again, this time sounding eerily close to the door.]

Please?
BEACONS
[Not everyone can fight, and Min-Gi definitely should not. It's a relief to be given a task that he can do since there's no way he's attempting to take on the wraiths head on. He's been avoiding them when possible, and fleeing when it isn't. It's a strategy that's worked for him so far, but it does make him feel pretty useless.

The kit changes that. Not only does it give him something to do that doesn't involve more than likely getting himself killed, but it makes the blanket and tea she gives him in addition feel less like a trap. He's not bad at it either. It takes him some time to unpack everything and assess exactly where everything is supposed to go, but once he starts building his lanterns are neat and sturdy.]

Do you need one? I think I have enough material left to make extra.

[And he probably should, regardless on if he's taken up on his offer or not. It seems as though they could use as many lanterns as they can get. Besides, it's quite cozy sitting by the fire at the inn. Min could happily do this for a while.]
