"Our spells do have elemental affinities, it's true. Fire, ice, water, wind, earth, lightning, darkness and light. But within those elements are different categories of spells - some are offensive, some are defensive, and others are supportive. So really, you could categorize all spells together without worrying about affinity if you wanted to do it that way."
