[ By this point, it's been a few days since Katsuki Bakugo was bitten by a snake. It's been only bearable because he is a learned boy who has spent countless hours under all sorts of strain and rigorously trained himself for moments like this, but he's also still just a 17-year-old boy.
There are times when he is subjected to the venom's influence.
At times, it's Tomura Shigaraki's hands wrapped around his neck - where he feels himself pulled back to that moment again. Being told the same thing over and over - That he is worthless, that he is nothing, that he will never be greater than what he is now. Every time he is pulled back to that moment in time by these delusions, Bakugo becomes desperate - he doesn't understand how him alone is not enough. He doesn't understand how he is not ENOUGH to do the things he knows he is full well and capable of doing. What about him is what caused his death? Why did it happen? Why did it come to this? His mind always draws him back to that moment, instanteous as it was - flickering through every possible cause that he could in order to squander the opportunities Tomura had before him - N O T H I N G.
Why was it that Izuku could always put his entire life on the line and come out of it shining? Why was everything always up to him alone to hold on his own? What was it about Bakugo that wasn't enough? What was it about him that couldn't reach beyond the rift that sat between them?
Why can't he reach for his hand back and help? What the hell? Why wasn't he enough? WHY WASN'T HE ENOUGH?
Katsuki Bakugo often took to his own space and tried to deal with the delusions within the grove on his own, even if he felt overly exhausted. Even if his body would struggle in the ways it made him feel. A few days were all that had passed, strangers all around him, ugly truths he did not understand or know how to face. Eggs.... There were times he convinced himself this was hell, and there were other times he convinced himself this was a joke - but he was just a lost kid who didn't understand anything and honestly wanted to go back home.
He's sorry he did what he did; please bring him back home.
It's late, and it's nearly time to turn in for the evening. Bakugo stomps into the ground with every step he takes, wearing his Pro Hero gear. It makes him stand out, for one, but he is admist handling a patrol around the perimeter he has signed up for. Committed always to any job or task given to him, he had dressed the part, especially under these circumstances. Bakugo wanted to ensure that these snakes wouldn't bite anyone and that nothing worse would happen. Considering all the strange phenomena that continued to take place around them...
It's quiet now as he continues his patrol when he catches something in the distance now. Turning a corner into a clearing, he saw the way the figure held himself there in a stance that Bakugo was very familiar with. That something was there, something way too familiar. Bakugo always had a knack for knowing when its him, whether it was because they were always watching one another or something otherwise innate. Seeing that figure standing there gave Bakugo a sudden flicker of hope - was it him?
Thoughts churn in his head, and Bakugo panics slightly. No. No... Nononono - NO, he can't be dead too. After all, HE DIED. Pathetically so. If they were here, then wouldn't that mean - He was dead too? Or was this all just another cause of the Venom in his veins?
Another step forward, he kicks with a loaded blast escaping from his gloved hand. It's instantaneous and made without a second moment's thought. Bakugo moves quickly, his face expressed in a way that is both bewildered but extremely strained. The Hero who died, aims to make himself come to this figure immediately. Certain that this was another fixation of the venom in his veins. By this point, Bakugo was half-convinced he was getting worse and finally beginning to lose it.
He can't do this, not after everything that has just happened. Even he would crack under this sort of pressure.
Bakugo is so unbelievably gone; the feelings of his whole life up to this moment weighed on him heavily, and when Bakugo died there in that Coffin, all he could think of in his final moments...
Was how much he wanted to say sorry again.
About how he wanted to stand beside Izuku and reach for the top together... How much Izuku actually meant to him. How he wants nothing more than to start that Hero Agency together alongside him. Bakugo wants everything Izuku wanted, and to finally reach that hand back out and ask him the same question Izuku asked back when they were kids.
Katsuki Bakugo is fast, storming toward Izuku Midoriya - an existence he's not even sure is real or just a figment of his imagination. He means to drive his fist straight into that figure, knowing that if this really is the Deku he knows, the fight that's about to break out will give Bakugo the answer he's looking for. Bakguo is desperate for it, almost with a need for hope to know - this is who he thinks it is. ]

There was nothing.
There were no options left.
Bakugo had given his all, and it wasn't enough.
Instead, he died pathetically.
