[Unexpected as it is, and for how loopy he's become, he simply... stares at Joshua for the space of several heartbeats. It's an endearingly startled expression, one that — after the space of five or so heartbeats — devolves into a hearty laugh. It's probably loud enough to draw attention to them, oops.

Eventually, though, he settles. His eyes close once more, and he finds himself well at ease. He curls just that little bit tighter, perhaps enough for his forehead to press against Joshua's chest, and lets out a contented sigh.]
