If he were a small, human-shaped person, he could easily dodge any direction but forward where the fog wall sits (they've gone in a solid circle, good job guys). But... he is a large, bulky, deer-shaped man who cannot fit between the narrow trees here, and he'd hve to turn back and walk into Wolfwood.
