I. Far from home ♡》@ the cookie house; cw: panic attack [Pavlova Cookie is more than used to waking up in strange places. When he can slip away from his duties unnoticed he can be found napping just about anywhere. The Garden of Delights had many quiet areas that someone can get lost in for a moment alone, and he took full advantage of that. Trees and large flowerbeds became his favored spot for a midday nap, other times he might drag Sugarfly Cookie into a nap if they didn't seem too busy already.
This, however, was not the Garden. This was a house. He hasn't seen the inside of an actual house in a very long time. There wasn't really a need when the Garden was so safe. Once he finished processing the strange feeling of cut wood against his dough, he realized the inherent problem here. This wasn't a dream. This was real. He shouldn't be here. He couldn't be here. Eternal Sugar Cookie hadn't given him permission to go anywhere. The young cookie jolted up from where he was laying with such force that he almost propelled himself right into the ceiling, causing a loud clatter from the gust his wings kicked up.
Fear shot through Pavlova like lightning. Eternal Sugar would think he was trying to escape if he didn't get back soon. She was going to find him, and she'd turn him into a statue and then he'd never be able to see the world outside the garden ever again. But where even was he? There weren't any houses like this anywhere near the Garden, or he'd know about it. With all the time that's passed he probably wouldn't be able to know the way back home if he were somewhere else on Beast-Yeast and Witches forbid he somehow end up in Crispia.
The boy fluttered back to the floor, feeling light headed. His thoughts kept racing, and he found that with each one he felt less sure of what to do. He hasn't even processed the changes to himself yet, even as his new, feathered wings quivered as he shook.]
II. A needed distraction ♡》 [He's calmed down by now, not that any of it has really sunk in. Part of him is still looking over his shoulder waiting for his master to come and collect him. Even if she is- all he can really do is enjoy his last moments of freedom before that happens, right? His version of exploring had turned into absentminded wandering partway through as he inadvertently reminded himself of his new fleshy form and his odd, feathered wings. Like the witches, he was told. He didn't know what to think about that.
Pavlova's wanderings did eventually bring him to the church, though his eyes fell onto the animal spirits attempting ineffectively to mix paint more than the fact it was supposed to be a place of worship. Somewhere in the back of his mind they reminded him of some of the creatures in the Garden. Beast-Yeast was home to all kinds of odd forms of life, so it took a lot to catch him off guard. Still, he was cautious at best despite the smile he'd plastered on. Mixing paint is a good way to turn off his brain for a little while, and there's plenty of it to do. He almost didn't notice when the creatures start to nudge pottery over to him, urging him to paint with them, it seemed like.
He wasn't the only one there either, it would seem. The boy carefully contained his reaction as his eyes flicked to the other person. Had they been there the whole time? Pavlova's wings fluttered, picking up one of the plates the spirits had dropped off by him and plopped himself down right next to them, habit taking over as he gave them a beaming smile.]
Hi, my name's Pavlova Cookie, what's yours?
III. Wildcard ♡》 For now Pavlova is going to be keeping to the grove and trying not to freak out. I'm open to dms to discuss a starter or random starters of people noticing the random new cherub looking kid toting a bow. Might edit later to include the transformation prompt
