There are steps between demanding he confess his feelings or interests, and saying nothing. Perhaps you could broach the subject delicately. You both have a rather minimal knowledge of the things you saw in Night Vale, yes? Perhaps you might approach it as exchanging knowledge. In doing so, maybe he might reveal something about himself. Or learn it.
