[netbook] would you rather...

Hi, it's Ain! And I'm bored, so you're all going to play games now :O

The game is "would you rather"! The rules are easy:

1. You have to ask a question in the format of "would you rather do this thing or this other thing?" For example "would you rather eat pizza or hotdogs?"
2. You answer people's questions. It's more fun if you give a reasoning as to why you answered this way. Also, you can't say "none of the above" or "neither" or "both" or anything like that, you have to pick one of the things!
3. After you answer a question, it would be nice if you come up with more questions for others to answer.

That's it! I'll start by giving you guys a set of three questions to answer for an example and also to get us started :D

- Would you rather find out you're living with 10,000 cockroaches, or find out you're living with a person you didn't know about in your attic?
- Would you rather be loved for everything you’re not, or liked for everything you are?
- Would you rather be forced to sing along or dance to every single song you hear?

Okay, go!!

[you understand him]

I would like to hear the singers sometime. I have heard a choir sing before and it was peaceful.

Alright, I shall give it a go:

Would you rather live without books or live without music?
galaxyfarer: (they slither wildly)

[man, they are playing hardball with these questions. he sits there, considering for a moment]

I know there are comfortable lies out there, but I would prefer to have the truth, I think. I wish for people to be honest with me.

Would you rather live in a castle by the sea, or a pagoda on a hill?

[an easier question, this time]

What is "hillfood?" I have not heard of this term before.

I do not mind heat, or cold, so I could, potentially, survive in the heat, long-term. However, hunting and foraging for my own food sounds more fun.

[my guy, you've only been a human for a week]

Ah, I see. That makes sense.

[does it???]

I do not know how to hunt or forage, but I assume it must be interesting to live like that, especially in a human body.

I would appreciate that a lot. My original form is also very small, when compared to humans.

That's a tough question. I love both, but I would still sacrifice books for music.

Which would you do?

[He cheated on the first question mostly because Ain was the one asking, but actually...

Yeah, he sucks at this game.]

[hello, again]

I understand. I think there is a lot of knowledge in books, and I would miss them, as well.
outofsynth: (we'd like to feel you're acceptable)

[personal profile] outofsynth 2026-03-21 12:07 am (UTC)(link)
A lot of knowledge, and a lot of stories, but music can tell stories too. Maybe not in the same way, but I could still never give it up.

[personal profile] galaxyfarer 2026-03-21 02:29 am (UTC)(link)
I am glad that we do not actually have to give up either!
outofsynth: (and a trifle uncool)

[personal profile] outofsynth 2026-03-21 01:44 pm (UTC)(link)
So am I. If it wasn't a hypothetical I think it would be a lot harder to commit to one.
galaxyfarer: (through my opened mind)

[personal profile] galaxyfarer 2026-03-21 06:58 pm (UTC)(link)
That is true. This game can be quite difficult. But I thank you for playing with me, despite that.
outofsynth: (a building in the distance)

[personal profile] outofsynth 2026-03-22 10:20 pm (UTC)(link)
It can. There are some questions here I could never answer.

[Even outside of the original, eventually answered cockroach vs stranger question. There's a pause as Min tries to finally consider an actual, proper question.]

Would you rather have to play this game every day for the rest of your life, or live out the reality of one of the answers?
galaxyfarer: (are drifting)

[personal profile] galaxyfarer 2026-03-22 10:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Goodness! Let's see. Honestly, I don't mind playing this game. I'd rather play it every day than live out a different reality.

...unless I would get to be followed by ducks. I think I might like that, too.

[personal profile] outofsynth 2026-03-22 10:44 pm (UTC)(link)
I think the ducks would be cute at first, but get annoying fast.

If I had to choose from something here, I think I'd want to be fluent in every language.
galaxyfarer: (possessing and caressing me)

[personal profile] galaxyfarer 2026-03-22 11:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Perhaps you are right.

Ah, I forgot about that one. That would also be nice.

Would you rather have a dragon as a pet, or a unicorn as a pet?
outofsynth: (1000_cb=20210514203402(1))

[personal profile] outofsynth 2026-03-23 12:10 am (UTC)(link)
Unicorn. I think a dragon would be too dangerous.
galaxyfarer: (they call me on and on)

[personal profile] galaxyfarer 2026-03-23 12:13 am (UTC)(link)
What if it was a little dragon? They can come in all shapes and sizes. But, perhaps unicorns could, as well.
outofsynth: (6199986)

[personal profile] outofsynth 2026-03-23 12:21 am (UTC)(link)
A little dragon probably still has fire, right?
galaxyfarer: (possessing and caressing me)

[personal profile] galaxyfarer 2026-03-23 01:18 am (UTC)(link)
I'd say yes.
outofsynth: (so break my heart if you must)

[personal profile] outofsynth 2026-03-25 11:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Then definitely unicorn.
