kidnapping sun mommy
Who: Beat, Felicity, Josh going lmao
What: Moving Sun Mommy from the Burnt Village to the Grove
When: Morning of the 11th
Where: Burnt Village/Grove
Warnings: watching a dog swear and wrestle with a statue
[With Livios question still on his mind, and the day after the Grove Attack - and wondering if maybe the complete statue may have helped a little and plus he just doesn't like her alone out there - Beat is going to set out to the North to the Burnt Village, avoiding the memory of sinkholes and vines (which he may shiba scream at) and go about... well.
Kidnapping Beiwe.
He has to bulk up to do it, he's strong but he's never kidnapped a stone statue before, and frankly, she's tall. It prolly looks fucking ridiculous when he waddles his way back into the Grove with the top half, because she's about six fucking feet, and while he's nearing nine in his bulked up mode, she's... fucking heavy. And unwieldy. And her base may be dragging a little on the ground between his legs, as he pants and carries her like a toddler dragging a cat. Or a dog dragging it's favorite bed.
He will stop to rest at one point at the grove to village cross-over point, tail wagging enthusiastically as he puts his elbow on her head and rests there for a moment. He's talking amiably to her though, around his panting!]
Don' worry, I'll getchu set up right here an' you'll look awesome, yo. Jus'- jus' gotta get you there. Damn, yo. Yer heavy. UH, not sayin' it rudely, like bein' bulky is good to be!! But, bruh... Oogh I think I need water...
[Help.]

( curious! and adorable. a little sick, huh? it does feel a little... weak. but it looks like he's in good hands, they can keep going-
wait what. felicity freezes, looking right a revati, eyes wide. )
... Whatch'a mean there, bud?

[But is he going to elaborate? Absolutely not. Enjoy that.
The little hedgehog snuffles his nose against the air, but closes his eyes. Almost like he's settling in for a nap. He's still weakened, and even being this active is exhausting.]
"You... You are a star, aren't you? You feel... mm."
Well. Isn't that interesting? I didn't know you could understand him.

( her voice trails off and she glances away for a moment, because things are starting to click into place. she's always known she isn't human but- she'd always thought it was just her magic. one more thing marking her as different. )
... A star, huh. It would make sense.

Josh gently rubs Revati's cheek with the side of his thumb, then moves to tuck him safely back into the satchel. Take a nap, buddy.]
Well, congratulations on your diagnosis. We should probably have our life-changing revelations as we walk, though. That statue won't go anywhere otherwise.
[Josh you could at least help-- no. No he won't. His offer to help was extended to Beat, and it was vehemently refused and then someone else's offer was accepted instead, so he is rescinding it entirely. He's a petty bastard.]
Besides. I'm sure Beat will come back from the burned village aaaany second now. It wouldn't do to have a pedestal with no statue, hm?

It's intact! In fact! It looks like it was the ground it was on that lost the battle with staying together, judging from the little juts of clumped up rock that are pointing from the corners, still clinging to the screws that had been screwed into it.
Beat's huffing a little, trying to hurry to catch up, and seems surprised they haven't moved at all.]
Y'all di'nt gotta wait!
