[I'm not sure who wants to claim responsibility for this one because it's not Ain who came up with it, maybe it was divine providence you don't know, anyway everyone will be grouped up on the pier at some point for spin the bottle. The rules are simple: You spin the bottle, and whoever it points at gets a kiss. Whether that's on the forehead, cheek, hand, or a full-on makeout sloppy-style is up to y'all.

This is following after the wet t-shirt contest thanks Wolfwood for that one.

Anyone can participate but please be mindful of the youngins and don't get too handsy in public.

And try not to push each other into the sea nearby. Or do, I'm not your dad and Ain literally will not try to stop this from happening.]

[The truth of the matter is that after everything was said and done, Luca might have harbored the faintest ghost of feelings for Livio. The problem is that he's seen Livio and Wolfwood bandying about the town since then. There's also something happening with the weird bug blond, but he isn't about to touch that with a ten foot pole.

The point is that when Livio sits down in front of him, all of the blood in Luca's body rushes to his face. His eyes go wide for a second, before he quickly forces himself back to a much more neutral state.

Beasts have mercy on him.]

Ah, well. I would not wish to cause tension between you and your... companions. Whatever is most amenable to that, I suppose.

[Smooth. So smooth.]

[well. seeing as his "companions" are both sitting right there...]

I, uh, don't think tension's a problem...

[if there is any tension, it's between these two. in that luca's crush might not have been entirely one-sided. livio thinks luca is a good person at his core, and charming in his own way.

for all that, livio can't stop the sympathy flush in his own cheeks, though his doesn't fade with luca's.]

I guess, just... tell me if it's too much...?

[before he loses his nerve, he dips in to kiss delicately at the corner of luca's lips. when that feels like a cop-out, he presses one more. and then that feels like too much, so he plants a final one on luca's chin.]

Mm - [He gives a brief nod, so as not to disturb Livio as he eases forward. Mostly, though, he's focusing on quelling his own nerves. The butterflies are roiling about within his gut, so much so that he has half of a mind to run. Beasts forbid a man acknowledge his feelings!!

Thankfully, he manages to stay his hand, even if he does inevitably find himself feeling frustrated by the display. It is a lot of teasing for no apparent reason. Which means, by the time it's all said and done, Luca is somewhere between a grin and a scowl.]

My, I would not have thought you to be a coward, Livio. [Emboldened by what he's interpreted as little more than teasing, Luca leans forward, planting a kiss square on his lips. Oops!]

Well -- maybe not if it was a fight, but this...

[aaand luca is back. here is one of many little eeps to come out of livio today. but he follows the phoenix-blessed's lead and gives a real kiss in return, looking even more sheepish afterward.]

[The good news is that Luca doesn't actually seem to be bothered. He looks faintly amused as he leans back to study Livio. He wouldn't have expected such a timid demeanor at first glance, but the man had long proven that his looks were deceiving.]

And whatever are you apologizing for?

Uh -- skirtin' around it, I guess?

[he opens his mouth to say something, thinks better of it and closes it again... but ultimately, the combination of tipsy-and-flustered beats his inhibitions down.]

I like your smile. [even if it's only a half-smile. even if liv realizes what he said and looks away in embarrassment.]

[Oh. Well, that makes two of them, looking away like awkward teenagers. Luca wraps his arms around himself, head tucking down as if he's trying to hide his smile. Especially when he realizes that it's getting bigger. How embarrassing.]

You're... sweet. [A pause.] I like yours as well.

[oh, no, luca has turned the tables on him, which livio was not at all expecting. not only one, but two soft compliments. he'll just be avoiding luca's eyes for the next ten minutes.

and then maybe sneaking glances at him every so often after that.]
