For those of you who weren't aware: Last night, Mizuki was killed by some sort of snake. The bites on his person are conclusive with snake bites, and unless any other strange creatures here can match the bite pattern, we can rule out other animals as causes. These bites, however, were marked with black suns.

I think you know what this means, but in case it's unclear: The False God has taken it upon himself to kill one of us.

This note exists as a notice. Mizuki, being Seaborn, should be immune to poison, but I found a powerful venom in his bloodstream. I'll give medical notes to anyone interested, as the effects are quite dire. With that being said, a statement needs to be made.

If you think you are immune to poison, you are not. This was demonstrated loudly and clearly without room for argument. Do not get bitten or scratched by anything. Do not let unfamiliar animals into your homes, and do not engage with them if you see them. If you get attacked, I advise you to put them down.

I'd hate to see more death here.

Also, as a reminder: The False God is not to be addressed by any other names other than the most derogatory things you can think of. Pure Vanilla covered this point and I will not be rehashing it at this time.

Hey, look, I know everyone is really freaked out right now and all this sucks, but throwing dangerous accusations at people is going to start whipping everyone into a paranoid frenzy. Having the Grove tear itself apart is probably EXACTLY what they want.

I believe what my dearest brother is - pitifully, I might add, love you, Luc ;) - attempting to reinforce is that it is a resident's doing.

Going directly for one another's throats is ill-advised, yes, but remaining wary, at the very least, of those around us whose motivations we can't truly know is prudent.

I do agree with that. There is just a fine line between vigilance and paranoia.

He knew if he did not do everything in his power to mediate between them he risked his family tearing itself apart. He learned quickly, unfortunately, how to navigate the emotional intelligence of two deeply traumatized, stunted 60-year-old men.]

Yeah, well, you say that, but I was definitely going through all the curses I remembered in the off chance we DO find this person, so I'm only level-headed to a point.
