Oooh, that's right. The world you guys are from is kind of old-timey, huh? So, uh, do you know what a photograph is? That's a good place to start explaining.

I am aware of photographs, however! How are they related?

So a movie is like if you took LOTS of photographs in quick succession to make a moving picture, and used it to record something like a play or performance.

Ah! I see! Is it similar to a flip book, then? Where you put the pictures in sequence and move them so rapidly that it gives the illusion of movement?
