Out of curiosity, for those of you that obtained an item for free from Ydalir, what did you receive?

I received a rather fine-looking hat, myself, but whenever I wear it, it... forces my speech into uncontrollable and highly irregular patterns for my usual manner of speech. Which is a shame, considering I do like it.

I have nothing against pigeons. I'm simply struggling to comprehend a situation in which pigeons would be... useful? Unless you need a distraction, perhaps.

Liberi, my race, are composed of various species of birds. So, yes, I specifically am a pigeon. It would be more politically correct to simply refer to me as Liberi, but I felt the specification necessary in this case.

You've been in the cafe. Liberi are effectively a humanoid race of birds. If you've met the man who runs the laboratory, he is also Liberi, but a crane specifically. It's akin to how Sesa is Vouivre (dragon) and SilverAsh is Feline (snow leopard, specifically).

I wouldn't know what it did if I hadn't tried it already! Anyway, that's why there's a few dozen more pigeons in the Grove now. Maybe more, if I feel like it!

That's quite the power you have, there. I wonder, are the pigeons simply... here, forever? Or might they disappear after a certain amount of time?

Who knows! We'll have to wait to find out. I'm more curious about where they're coming from. Are they summoned from somewhere else? Made on the spot out of magic? Is there a limit to how many it can make, or is there an infinite pigeon dimension it's pulling from?

I'd worry about the impact on the local ecosystem, but I think the malicious entity possessing the forest might be a slightly bigger issue there.
