surely it's not hard to build a door to another realm of existence?
Who: The Entire Grove
What: Portal Shenanigans
When: Throughout the entire month and beyond if needed?
Where: The Grove
Warnings: portal crimes?? possible snake attacks. possible snack attacks.
Clive has never actually made a portal to some demi-realm before, so he has no idea where to start. Except he guesses if it's going to be a door, he can craft a doorframe? It's... well, it sure is! And it's right in the middle of the Grove the best he can, so everyone can access it who needs to access it. It just needs a door or a portal or whatever, he doesn't know.
He does know that he's not a carpenter, and that the benefits of having a stone hand is you don't feel it when you inevitably knock your borrowed hammer into said hand. But he does his best to get it started so those with the experience for these things have some sort of framework for which to build on.
And other than that, he's mostly on patrol with Torgal for any snakes that may be trying to sneak in to interrupt things.
Welcome to a Mingle, Investigation, Joint Build-a-Thon? This will run for however long it needs to run for until everyone either blows themselves up, or we succeed! Collab with your fellow nerds, watch others, sabotage.

[ Though that means Pure Vanilla may have to set up a ward or some sort of illusion so Thorns can't look, hide it behind something. Or an enchantment to garble talk of it. Considering it's location. ]

The metal table he conjured starts to wobble a bit as it grows destabilized. Ugh, how could he be so stupid, he's supposed to avoid putting people in the line of fire again...]
Ah, right. [He responds, completely flat.] Lo siento, viejo.

Never escaping the Peepaw. ]
It's all right, my friend. I understand both your desire to help, and the reasoning why you've allowed yourself to be corrupted.
[ He Sees You. He gently but insistently ushers Thorns towards the Inn, stepping in close to get the other to move that way, but he will also walk with him, his look softening into a smile, sweet and light. ]
I would be a hypocrite, after all, if I scolded you over it.

Don't tell me you also use your own body as a vector for experiments. That can't be what you mean, right?
[The inn approacheth, though. Thorns isn't fighting him on this. He'll crash there for a while.]

WAS HE A CULT LEADER?!]... I gave myself Oripathy in an attempt to study it better and find a cure for it, without having to experiment on those here who have it. Together with my wife, we have made great strides in our understanding of it.

Ah. I can't fault that logic. You were told of its effects, right? My partner is Infected — I understand it to be quite painful to deal with, aside from the social stigma. [Which, luckily, doesn't seem to exist here.] I can't fix it myself, but I can make strong painkillers and sleep aids, in case you're ever struggling. Pharmacology is a practice of mine. I'm happy to provide anything you need in terms of medicine.

[ And angrily. ]
Ah! You will be quite useful at the Clinic, if you would like to join us. While I am quite skilled in herbal medication and getting the most out of a plants natural abilities, I have heard chemical pharmaceuticals are much stronger and far less likely to cause other complications due to reactions.

[This is why Gnosis won't let him into the lab :( ]
Ah, I will take the initiative upon myself to relocate — you won't have to raise a finger.

Explosion makes him smile though in an 'ah' manner. Lab accidents. Oh goodness. ]
Well, I'm sure we can help you with that! I suggest speaking with Sesa, he runs a workshop and I believe his contraptions are quite explosive, so he may be able to help you proof an area!
[ Then he hesitates a little, glancing towards Thorns, observes the Corruption in him. ]
May I ask a favor of you?

[The Corruption is uhhh bad buddy, as Pure Vanilla's special eyes will see.]
Sí. What is it?

[ Ignore the Peepaw fluster as he recalls bolting, bleating loudly, from Zahilya after Lily had to finally drag him to see him. ]
Doing everything subconsciously to avoid doing so.
