Clive has never actually made a portal to some demi-realm before, so he has no idea where to start. Except he guesses if it's going to be a door, he can craft a doorframe? It's... well, it sure is! And it's right in the middle of the Grove the best he can, so everyone can access it who needs to access it. It just needs a door or a portal or whatever, he doesn't know.

He does know that he's not a carpenter, and that the benefits of having a stone hand is you don't feel it when you inevitably knock your borrowed hammer into said hand. But he does his best to get it started so those with the experience for these things have some sort of framework for which to build on.

And other than that, he's mostly on patrol with Torgal for any snakes that may be trying to sneak in to interrupt things.

"Had to watch him too much before, hm?" He doesn't know Loop, only seeing the Star-Person in passing, but he knows Odile and if she says that, it must have been truly aggravating.

She frowns, just slightly.

"Hm. Loop's prefered pronouns are they-them. And yes, they do tend to behave foolishly when you let them."

That makes Clive blink gently. Confusion cover his face. Welcome to someone from a world where the idea of choosing your pronouns doesn't exist. But rather than ask? He merely accepts it. Nodding. "Then I will make sure I don't follow in their footsteps, and give you grey hairs."

Odile would have been happy enough to explain, but since he doesn't ask she doesn't offer either.

"Speaking of which, have you been taking proper care of yourself lately?" Has he gotten himself paralyzed again? Would he tell her if he had?

That makes him pause then laugh, soft and amused. "And here I thought I would have gotten away without a scolding today."

He rolls the sleeve up on his right arm and pulls down the glove some. Only the hand is petrified still.

"No worries here. It hasn't advanced any, no magic, as promised."

She inspects the hand perhaps more closely than is actually necessary. He doesn't have the best track record for this sort of thing, after all.

"Hmm. Good," she concludes warily after a moment. "And your brother?"
