I was part of a music group back home. I haven't done anything big since arriving here. It feels wrong performing without them. But I also miss it.

I write our lyrics, and then Kanade and I both could compose- but she specialized in it more than I do.

I understand. There were people I was close to back home that I miss dearly. Killing monsters here won't be the same without them.

You know. If you ever need someone to perform your piece, I hope you'll consider it. I promise to bring your work to justice.

It doesn't have a name or lyrics, but...

( if verso watches, he'll see a music score drawn out, and then the notes. if he can read music, he'll find a gentle melody. )

Kanade wrote this for me. Listening to it relaxes me, and I like to play it.

[Verso takes the time to hum the notes to himself, though it does make him long for a proper instrument as he does. When he's satisfied with the picture he's painted within his mind, though, he turns back to the notebook.]

Kanade must be someone special, if they're writing music for you.

She's the kindest person I know. She's someone beloved by music itself. Our goal as a group is to write songs that can save help those lost in their own pain.

A public piano at the inn might be nice. Though I do want one for my own home too.

That's true. But it would also let those staying in the inn play, and allow for the occasional performance.

Do you think it's more or less accessible than the bar?

I'm not sure. I haven't been to the bar since I'm considered a minor back home.

... There's rules about drinking?

In several countries it is illegal to buy or be served alcohol until you reach a certain age. In my home country that would be 20.

Huh. Seems rather low... Probably for the best, though.

See, in my book, he has a bit of competition. I know someone who is incredibly warm. And he gives the best hugs.
But I suppose this Luca isn't so bad, if he has someone to vouch for him.
