Do you need to know anything about fashion to design clothes?

Or like. Draw them, I guess?

Like is that considered offensive if you end up being really bad at it.

I guess the thing is that I don't even really know where to start. I don't know anything about clothes, really. I've spraypainted a t-shirt before, but I don't think that counts.

[HE'S HERE...and so is Dachie, who is stanced up and screaming as always. Till makes his way the rest of the way inside, looking down at Dachie before giving him a little patpat on the head. There there you don't have to scream.]

Wish I had half the energy he does.

It's not stupid! I don't think anyone would be offended or anything! Designing clothes can be complicated, but like assuming it's not, like, inappropriate I don't think anyone would have a problem with it.

I just figured some people take that sort of thing really seriously? Like I don't know what I'm doing, I'm less than an amateur. It might be insulting to think I could just do it out of nowhere, maybe.

How does one grow their talent without trying? I see Aira-san is already giving you encouragement, but he could certainly give you some pointers on the subject. He's designed costumes for our unit in the past!

While you shouldn't let a lack of knowledge stop you from pursing an interest, there is certainly no harm in observing whats around you and learning from it. We have a fascinating blend of cultures and worlds here, after all. The fashion and clothing we all wear is diverse and varied~

I could be! I have modeled plenty before in the past...! Ah, it's been some time since I've done it properly for something that wasn't being made for me.

Most of my clothing these days is ceremonial for the shrine, but they are very pretty and were made by Ain-san. Will that suffice?

That works. Honestly if it's pretty complex- which I imagine it would be if its ceremonial- that's better for practice anyway.
