( Gara's un-life has just been irony after irony, it feels like. He's waist deep in the earth, red scribbled over his eyes in his hysterical panic.

He told them DAA is stifling, they're all just wallowing and stuck under the earth, blind and searching and wanting, always wanting.

Now here he is. No way out.

It's just funny until it's not; those wild peals of laughter melt down into a ragged scream. )

02. ) FRAYED

( He noticed the tattoo immediately, of course; a camellia on his sternum. He fucking hates it, and doubly so when his body doesn't act right.

Feels like there are pathways in his brain that open up the longer he goes without solving this problem.

This traitor body of his sometimes feels like a stranger. Sometimes he likes it and how he looks. Sometimes still he's wishing he were alive, but he's never said that much to anyone. Not even Yuki.

His processing of pain is fucked when his nerves are so fried from being Handead, but this is consistent. Its new. It doesn't feel right.

His wrists ache like he dropped and braced himself and shattered them, just ... Not as intensely.

With his sharp teeth, he falls back into an old habit to see if he's numb or not: he bites into the meat of his arm. The blood takes longer to well than normal, and it doesn't hurt nearly as bad ... )

03. ) KILL THE STRESS

( Okay this is more like it.

Gara is not a drinker, really, but Mr. Bone-jangles seems like he knows what he's clacking about, and had pointed him over. Tequila because why not.

Slamming a few drinks because its the thing to do and he's a creature of impulse and chasing novelty. He stumbles a little, but — SHIT, IS THAT HANA NO EN.

He's so taken aback by the song that he just gets out to the dance floor to dance to this song people aren't supposed to know he likes. A lot.

Dressed as a yatagarasu with a black mask, he makes for an interesting sight ... )

03. ) KILL THE STRESS

[ BB is totally going to join you on the dance floor! Finally, they are playing some normal music, instead of that old century English pieces that she is pretty sure Mozart would turn his nose up at! Listen she gotta come walk in like this. ]

( He's just drunk enough to start cackling at her sudden entrance — shit, didn't think anyone else here had moves. Hana no En is so abrupt that he wonders if someone just suggested it somehow, but weirder shit has happened to him so far even being here for such a short while.

Definitely tries to copy her move, though, either way. )
