Day 1

Strange place, not Japan. Architecture appears European, but unable to peg and exact style. Reminds me a little bit of walking through Nara Dreamland.

Locals appear mostly friendly Everyone here seems to be kidnap victims, too. Large scale, many nationalities, some kind of large scale Badan plot? Doesn't seem their style-

The Carnival is evil. Will try to find out the mastermind behind it, some Badan monsters likely.

Kidnap victim stats observed so far:

Mostly in age ranges 17-25, some in between, two noted senior citizens.
Male > Female by fair percentage.
Mostly human, some nonhuman??
1 talking cat
decent percentage of Japanese, but observed a fair number of other nationalities.

No discernible pattern so far...

Still unable to contact the others. Radio chip neutralized? Or am I so far out of range that I can't pick anyone up.

Further investigation needed.

Of the nonhumans you can split them up into mortal (11) and immortal (5) but the count might be off because I can't tell with some of them.

Haha, I'm actually not the oldest. There are some older people in their thousands. One of them is at the beach but she's normally in the clinic. She's several thousands of years old, I think? :O I'm kind of the middle-est age here.

Oh, well, I don't know if I've ever met anyone that's as long lived as you, so I guess I'm just curious about what that might be like. If that's not a fun thing to talk about, I can think of some other stuff to ask. I'm really just trying to get a really good idea of what the people here are like. Its important to know your surroundings, after all!

Oh, no, that's wonderful! I would love that. I'm an adventurer and researcher, so my long life has been quite the benefit, actually.

Ha... Well, as someone who fancied themselves an atheist until about a day ago, with no real reason to believe in magic, my suspension of disbelief is ripe for plucking.

The cliff face will have a statue carved into it. It is VERY large, enough to also act as the staircase. From there, the rest of the habitable areas are immediately visible! The cabanas are going to be through a cave. It floods at night though.

Really! That's pretty interesting. I can't imagine being alive that long. [Haha...ha...] Alright, looks like I'm gonna have to further divide up the age grouping. Already the data I was noting seems all over the place. Trying to peg a common denominator between everyone is looking to be pretty near impossible.

As far as I know the age bracketing looks liiiike:

18 and younger: 7.5
19-29: 16 probably
30-60 (senior citizens): 8
70-600: 3.5
700+ (GRANDPARENTS): 3
Cat (cat age): 1

The .5s are because we have someone who's a kid but is also very old at the same time :O! These are my best guesses based on what I can sense/what I already know/appearances though. Most of them I'm confident about. Others I'm sure I'm getting wrong. That cat could be 3000 years old for all I know :O

This is all very informative! But I'm afraid I have to take complaint with your grouping of Senior Citizens being 30-60. I think that should really be more 50-100, other wise it feels like you're pushing me into the grave.

Haha, I can sense holy beings and demons and spirits and all that stuff, as well as people who are outside of the time they're supposed to be in. After that, I can get an age guestimate normally, or people will just tell me. Or I'll assume! Which is why some of the counts might be off, but I talk to a lot of people so they should be largely close.
