If you all don't mind, I'd love to have a comprehensive list of everyone's hobbies? ⸜(⸝⸝⸝´꒳`⸝⸝⸝)⸝

I can start, of course. I really like to cook and eat food. I also have an interest in psychology, if that much wasn't obvious. But my number 1 hobby is definitely video games!

I'd like it if you went into detail about how you discovered the hobby or why you were drawn to it, but that much isn't necessary! Also if you don't want to share publicly, you can always come to the therapy building. I'm here basically all the time!

Psychology is a very broad scientific study of the human brain, but it tends to have a more specific interest in how one's thoughts correspond with their behaviors. Everyone has reasons for things they do, and it's so fascinating for me to figure out why. Especially people with free will!!!!! It's so interesting and I have so many questions that I need answered and it's fun to figure things out from there and learn about the mind.

Video games are a form of entertainment produced electronically by a computer program. They have a screen that displays images, and there's a very vast genre of different video games that you could do. Puzzle games, which sounds a lot like what it is - solving puzzles. Visual Novels, which are mostly reading material, but with an emphasis on art and making choices to obtain different endings with each playthrough. Combat, where you play characters who fight one another. Survival, which have you maintaining things such as hunger, thirst, shelter, and sometimes combat to try and live. Horror, which comes with a ton of its own subgenres, but has the umbrella genre to just mean "scary" or "creepy". Strategy, simulation, shooters, platformers, hack-and-slash, stealth, roleplaying, and sooooo many more. There's as many genres for video games as there is for things like books and theatre, and I'd argue maybe even more than that.

I talk to We Many in my head a lot, but I don't think that's necessarily a "hobby"? Hm. We'll put a pin in that!!

Why do you need to know our hobbies?

I don't need to know your hobbies. It would just be nice. Both because it's fun to learn about people and it makes for a nice ice breaker (and we've had a few new people show up recently) (hi, by the way (´• ω •`)ﾉ) but also because I run the therapy building and would like to see about expanding it to have a suitable hobby room, or include more things in the lobby.

You do not need to share if you do not want to, however!

On the whole I love lively parties and drinking, but not in a way that's concerning, I hope. I don't usually get completely sloshed. My others are meditating and calligraphy, and I've been told I'm pretty good at singing.

That said, I don't think "killing" should be a hobby! That might worry some folk. Maybe like sword fighting or more specific stuff like stopping bad guys...?

Baking bread and crocheting are the big ones for me. I find it rewarding to create something myself from scratch, and it's nice to work out stress by kneading dough.

• Music. Obviously I like composing and playing, but I love hearing other people's music too. I like thinking about the meaning behind the songs, or why the artist ordered their album the way they did. It's also a lot of fun trying to adapt other people's songs for the synth.


• Reading. Especially classic literature and poetry.


• Drawing, but I'm not great at it.


• Arcade games.
