MIN-GI puts the memories in an order that might make sense, but some of them refuse to connect...
In the order they are written, memories #10, #5, #3, #7, #9, and #8 are in the incorrect places. Memory #10 feels as though it should be slightly lower in the order.
In the order they are written, memories #1, #4, #6, and #2 are in their correct places.
MIN-GI slots the memories into their places, and they almost feel like they've locked, unable to be altered further.
SINANN, who is in its person form and not a fish, which would have been helpful information to share earlier, starts to stir from slumber. Its first act is to joyfully blow bubbles to MIN-GI, but they freeze solid upon touching the air.
Min-Gi is relieved to see it wake. The bubbles are a nice gesture, but it doesn't bother him when they freeze up before ever reaching him. He smiles, stepping back to give it some space.
"Frostbite...? Oh, that's the thing that turns humans limbs purple and they fall off, right? That's scary..."
It still hasn't mastered the art of walking, so when it gets up and starts heading toward what looks like a warm(er) cave, it uh. Kicks its legs Way too far up, like a toddler learning to walk despite appearing physically as an adult person. There is an attempt happening.
"Right," he confirms, sort of glad he doesn't have to elaborate on that one. He's not sure whether that would happen to it even in this form, but it definitely isn't the sort of thing he's comfortable leaving to chance.
Min trails after Sinann as it walks, holding his tongue. It hadn't been critical while he'd still been getting used to swimming, so the least he can do is let it walk how it wants without commentary as long as it doesn't seem to be in too much danger of face-planting right into the snow.
"You'll have to try and warm up slowly," he tells it. "It can be dangerous to do it too quickly when you've been out in weather like this."
He's already thinking back to the things he's learned and trying to think what he might have spare in his bag that might help.
"Oh, really? That's weird. Is that because blood is warm?"
It doesn't know... it is usually a fish, a very large fish at that, who lives in a very chilly river. It knows nothing about nerve cells or anything like that. It does know that the stone texture of the cave is like that of the stones on the bottom of the river, though, and that it's significantly warmer inside the caverns than it is outside despite there not being much heat in here to begin with.
Once he probably would have found it weird that it didn't know, but after experiencing for himself the reverse scenario he gets how strange it must be for it. Despite that, it seems to have instinctively known how to get them to a warmer area. It's a lot better in here than it had been out there.
"Yeah. So it can make you sick if you jump between temperatures too fast. This cave is good though. We can get you warm gradually and you should be okay."
Maybe. It does seem remarkably okay considering the conditions he'd found it in though.

Perhaps even if they aren't all right, at least one other might click into place.

Sad.

"Are you all right?"

Surely Min-Gi, who has fingers and toes, must know about this.
"It's been a whole," it claps its hands together, "eternity! Since I remembered that happens. Brr!"

"You have to make sure you're dressed properly for the snow," he tells it. "You could get frostbite if you don't."
