That's pretty much it, yeah. To try and break it down a little further than just "The Vibes are Atrocious", this world places a lot of significance on the power of celestial bodies. The sun and moon are two sides of a coin that have to stay in balance and from a stand point of someone who's magic is heavily tied to the moon, things going out of a balance for any reason is rife for chaos.

Essentially, me and my weird moon blood have a bad feeling about all this.

As for your last question? I can't say for sure, but bunkering down with a roof over your head is probably better than being caught outside when whatever is about to go down goes down.
