Hello there! After having assisted the Grand Master with his introductions via this format, I thought I would try it for myself. You will have to preemptively forgive my handwriting... writing by hand is one of my least favorite things to do!

I am going to try my best to keep this concise! My name is Nicole. I am both an angel and a mage. I am deeply fond of both novels and sculpting, and long to one day devise a novel the likes of which would astonish even the harshest of critics!

I have been alive for a very long time, so I am happy to speak on any number of topics... especially the ones that were thousands of years ago... it's incredibly difficult to keep the details arranged simply in one's head after four or five thousand years! Although, that probably isn't that interesting for the average person. Hm, let me think...

What is your favorite memory that you would be willing to share?

My memories are a little complicated right now, but I guess my favourite memory is meeting Ras... iiiin general. (Again, it's complicated). You'll probably meet Ras soon. He's here, he usually floats around. Long white hair, has a stone in his chest.

I think that is a lovely memory! Memories of companionship can be very defining, after all. Hmm! I can understand the concept of memories being complicated, though I am guessing it’s not a standard type of complicated. I will have to keep an eye out!

It's definitely substandard. You're about as old as he is, though, so maybe you'll understand? No offense, obviously, I'm not trying to call you old despite calling you old.

Oh, that's alright. I think the concept of old age tends to lose some of its negative connotations when you surpass a certain number of years.

Does that mean you're young with inconsistent memory, or old with inconsistent memory but not as old? Just out of curiosity!

That... is a great question, actually. Uh.

So the real answer is it's complicated. Young (late 30s) with a very consistent memory, actually. It's just complicated. If you count the other seven lives, uh... I guess somewhere in the hundreds, mathematically-speaking?

I see, a secret third option! Do your memories tend to overlap from these reincarnations? I can imagine that would become very confusing. And you are reincarnating as the same person each individual time?

[bladeascent]

I remember all of them entirely, yeah. It's not as bad as you'd think since I can put things in a chronological order in my head, but then there are some people who were a friend in one life and an enemy in the next, and that's the part where I get stuck trying to wrap my head around it. Part of me hates them, part of me really cares for them, you know?

Aha, I can understand how that would be incredibly difficult to parse! These memories are so intertwined with your subconscious that they layer on top of one another… are the feelings as strong as they might have been in that life? Do you feel them as vividly as you might feel your own emotions at present, or are they more distant?

[ Sorry, Vildred, you've officially piqued her curiosity. ]

They're definitely strong, and I'm definitely reeling from all of it still. This is extremely new for me. Like... "last week" sort of new.

Last week? That does sound like a lot to contend with on top of the fluctuating state of things here. What have you done since then?

That's a great question! Mostly sat there?

Sat there? Without moving? Have you at least kept up with regular meals...?

Yes, yes, and also yes. I at least have a routine of making dinner for Ras and I even though he doesn't need to eat.

Oh, thank goodness for pre-established routines, then! Hmmmmmmm. I have a suggestion! You should keep a journal!

It will be good for the brain. And, it would shake you out of the sitting! And the staring!
