Hey everyone. It's Livio.

I thought it would be a good idea to have a spot to collect our knowledge of what to do and not to do around here. Specifically, rules the forest seems to abide by or hold us to. Such as "don't touch the trees."

If you can add any explanation, like the logic behind something, or consequences to be expected if we break a rule, that would be appreciated.

Even if something seems obvious, please share it. Some of us are newer than others. It's safer to be redundant than let someone get hurt out of ignorance.

When you say harvest, do you mean food, wood, animals, or something else?

I'm a witch and apothecary so I forage and harvest a lot of different herbs and other plants. Also berries and stuff, because they are delicious. I haven't done any hunting since Heimr usually can provide anything I need, or I can just get someone to fish for me, but I wouldn't be surprised if that's the same.

Are there any particularly helpful plants that we should keep an eye out for?

You have to say thanks before you take anything like fruits, sticks, or fish from the river. With the fish you have to take the remains like the bones to the river and put it back in. the river gardeean asked us to do it. I think the rest is becausse the forest gets mad if you dont.

Dont touch any black vines/plants/other things like that. Thats how you get corupted like me. Also dont sass the forest it does NOT like this I have been haloosinating for MONTHS but i think thats because of the corupshun.

Zaleeyah likes cheese and marshmellows and things that melt. That has nothing to do with the forest but hes friendlier if you feed him. Also he likes hats too.

If you die you go to a place called the garden and you have to give something up to return to life. Try not to die please :(

The forest likes to play games with people. Refusing to play means it will corrupt you. I killed one of its minyons last year and thats how I got corrupted despite not touching anything wierd.

If you get corupted cutting off the limb just means it will regrow with wood and vines and stuff like Nene so dont do that.

The gardeeans are our friends like Moder and Zaleeyah and the river gardeean so you have to be respectful to them because they are here to help protect us. They say you have to call the creeture in the woods "the false god" or it gains power.

Words also have power here which is why you say thanks and why you have to be careful what you wish for because they can be very literal about this.

Deaths that occur when the forest is "playing" with us don't count towards deaths that would send us to the Garden. When I burnt to death in a previous one, I woke up in my bed, but when I was devoured by the wolf outside of a game, I was sent there.

I heard not to refer to it as anything consistently. But "the false god" is helpful to say?

Do scales and medallions count as things taken from the river? I hope the River Guardian accepts belated thank yous.

Moder seems to like calling it a false god. Zaleeyah calls it a lot of mean names but I think he can get away with it because he cant be corrupted. The forest does want him to die though.

The river gardeean is really nice so I think it will accept it!!! I would count it just to be safe
