Hello, everyone!

Now that we have these notebooks, I would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that the therapy building is available for everyone’s use. If you’re confused about the use of any of the rooms, you’re free to ask me about them here, or privately if you would like to meet up somewhere. I know the Grove is small, but confidentiality is still very important to me, and I would gladly take the time to hear you out.

If there’s anyone else that would like to use the office for a fellow friend, that is also allowed! Just let me know!

I know things have been… a lot, lately!! But that doesn’t mean there aren’t still people here for you to talk to.

Hey! I thought this would be better in person. So, while I do appreciate the offer...

I have a personal principle of not having my friends as my therapist. Its for both our sakes, generally.

That's a good stance to take as a general rule. I think, in any other circumstance, I would agree. But considering that we don't have the luxury here of not being so close-knit together and having us make friends via either proximity or suffering together, it's a lot harder to hold a stance like that.

Given our situation, I think having a friend to be able to talk to is better than bottling everything up until something inevitably bad happens…

Yeah, it is, but that's why you should talk to someone. We're all stuck here, we're all experiencing traumatic things, and we all need strong support here because of it. If you keep everything to yourself, you're going to just end up hurting yourself even more in the end. If everyone here continues to think they can't burden anyone else with the things they're struggling with, then we're just going to have an exact repeat of what happened here at the Grove all those years ago.

It's very noble of all of you to be worried about other people, but you all seem to have a very blurry line between "selfless" and "self-sacrificing". [ Callout post re: the whole fucking Grove. ]

But no, it's for the purposes of having food growing outside the lab for quick access. I could have used the greenhouse, of course, but I'd hate to take away space from Add's flowers now that the weather is warming up.

I'm sure your first few times went fine, however. I've seen people in and out since you built the place, so I imagine you must have some level of success.

It's a racing video game~! Of course, there's plenty of other things we can play, too. I've got all kinds of genres. Cozy farm games, puzzle games, survival, first person shooters, platformers, stealth, horror, RPG, sandbox…

oh, it's like… a picture book, but the pictures move, and you don't have to turn the pages or nothing like that.

How do you "play" it?

so, um… do you know about board games? the "pieces" of the board game, the things that you move around, will be your "character" or something similar depending on the game you're playing, and you have a controller that acts to move your character around and interact with world in the game.

If you haven't played before, we could try to give it a go, if you'd like! And if it's too overwhelming, I have a ton of tabletop roleplaying games we can play instead!
