Hello, everybody. My name is Harque Ebalon. I recently arrived here. (✿◡‿◡) It's nice to meet everybody.

I wanted to mention something to everyone that I think may be common knowledge already, but I thought it was pertinent to know. (っ °Д °;)っ

Time in this space passes strangely. I would describe it as being constantly paused, unpaused, rewound, looped backwards, and then suddenly jumped forwards. It often repeats, and there is no true pattern to it that I've been able to sense. It seems completely random.

This space is also fully disconnected from the flow of time. It would explain why days feel so long sometimes and so short the next. I haven't yet discovered how to manipulate the flow of time and reconnect it with whatever is outside of here, but that also makes me believe that reconnecting it might make the rest of this place play some game of catch-up, which means rapid ageing/decay of the environment/changes we cannot account for. (⊙ˍ⊙)

That's all I wanted to say! Sorry if this is disconcerting! ヾ(•ω•`)o

hmm, I can't say that's too terribly surprising. It explains why some of the dead bodies I found weren't fully skeletons after all this time and still had the meaty bits on them! Also why the moon's weird, too, maybe??

I don't think the entity really cares about the consequences of time manipulation, though....

The moon here is very strange, isn't it? I noticed that too, but what is more concerning to me is the flow of time. .______.

There actually wasn’t that much at all to digest, but I really don’t recommend eating rotten food!

The moon is very strange. But it’s a different moon every night. And I don’t mean it’s phases, I know tonight is a waxing crescent, but I mean it’s literally a different moon. Tonight is… going to be some moon with a bit chunk taken out of it? I don’t know where it’s from, but it sure looks funny~.

Elsword was in a lot of pain, and I was scared. I didn't know what to do. I tried praying, I tried getting the magic to come out of the rock, I tried asking for help... but none of that worked, so I ate it, in hopes maybe it would give me guidance.

That tends to be how gods work where I'm from.

I'm also connected to the moon. My family specialized in moon magic specifically, and I was candidate to become Moon Master at one point. ♪(^∇^*)

the moon thing was though. sometimes. you tie your soul to the moon for magic gains and also worship purposes.

Oh my! Well, I haven't tied my soul to either of Elrios' moons, but my family has always been particularly sensitive to that sort of magic. We do worship the moons, though. (❁´◡`❁)

part of why i did it was to balance out my magic though. otherwise the only thing i could do is destruction and misfortune. not great!!!

Oh, I see... I can understand where this may cause an issue for you. May I ask about your specific connection? The moons of Elrios bless us with healing, rest, and protection, while the dark sides give us the ability to fight. I can only do the "light" side's magic. Dark magic does not come easily to me. I'm curious to know what the differences might be. (づ￣ 3￣)づ

in short? the moon owns my soul. this has carried across universes, and i think it's because this is where our souls originated?

through a series of complex rituals i tied pieces of my soul to the moon bit by bit. at this point she is as much a part of me as my magic, my blood, or anything else.

where i'm from the moon has multiple aspects though! healing, shields and protection, shadow, and specifically moonlight, as a light source or as hard light. with creativity you can blend things actively too! but because of my connection it also impacts my energy levels. i feel the most active and zest-y when the moon is full, but i feel calm and almost sleepy in a contented way when it's the new moon.

Our moons are quite similar, then! How lovely to read. It makes me feel less like a stranger in a strange land since our experiences are the same. Though, I do not get mood or energy swings due to the moon's influence itself.

forgot to mention that water magic also falls a bit under moon magic due to the tides! but i like lightning/fire for myself personally, but yeah

imagine your world didnt have magic. you wouldnt know what magic was like, right? so you wouldnt know what it was like to live without it until experiencing it elsewhere, like here

Hm, it has been observed to flow differently, but I did not suspect it was that bad. Though it seems stabilized somewhat here in the Grove, in the Forest proper it's even worse. I do not recommend you go out there unless you are well prepared.

Oh, thank you for mentioning this. This is the second time I've been told not to go out into the woods. Rest assured, I cannot fight at all, so I won't be! ^^

If there is any reason you do need to, please do not hesitate to ask someone for aid! The paths to the other portions of the Grove are relatively safe, but beware the wall of fog the most.

I don't like the look of that fog wall, so I've stayed clear from it. Judging by the appearance, it's meant to keep us here, is it not? Does it do anything special?

I am truthfully unsure. It has receded recently, and has given us more freedom to explore. I am not sure if this is the weakening of the beast that keeps us here, or the strengthening of the guardians who protect us.

It corrupts those who touch it, or attempt to pass through it without protection. Judging from experiments, it causes immense pain as it does so as well.

Oh, my, I don't much like the sound of that. Are you in need of healers at all? If so, I would be glad to help, even though my magical studies have really only just begun. ^^

We could always use more healers, yes! I myself am one, but I fear with Add leaving, we are down the one who has spent the most time here. Mizuki is in training as well. More hands with a variety of knowledge will help!
