[Netbook]
[Someone's started sketching in their netbook, apparently unaware of how it works. It begins with a simple diagram of a grid warping around a sphere, drawn swiftly and precisely. Following that, more gridded planes, drawn warped into various shapes, some of which don't look very Euclidean. A few get scratched out. There's a pause.
And then, math. Complex formulas, written and worked quickly, bits sometimes erased and corrected, sometimes whole formulas scratched out. To anyone who might recognize it, it's a lot of calculations used when dealing with spacetime - and interestingly, some magical formulas in there as well, dealing more specifically with time.
Those magical formulas may be especially familiar to other Cookies versed in magic.
The actual values in use aren't from anywhere on the page, perhaps being pulled from elsewhere. Is someone trying to map or predict the movements of time here? Regardless, the speed and precision at which the formulas are scrawled is impressive, especially considering the handwriting remains sharp, simple, and legible, strokes made at neat and even intervals.
...It doesn't take long for the scrawlings to pause, however. Someone isn't used to getting headaches with this.]

Tracking something? But it seems almost impossible to predict. The variables are all over the place, and cross or divert at random.

Normally I am quite proficient at tracking, predicting, and manipulating time on my own. This place seems determined to make that difficult. I thought that perhaps writing out the calculations might reveal some pattern I could not intuit, but it has not helped.

[If one she hadn't expected to frustrate her so quickly. Lily is very correct about that, though Timekeeper is not yet admitting it aloud (or on paper, as it were).]
My absence from my last timeline should not be felt, at least. To discover one so different of which I was not aware is quite the surprise!
sorry i am constantly dying (sobs)
Are you more of an observer, then?
mood, you're good /offers internet hug
It's simply that I have traveled across the timelines enough that I am likely still "there" to the cookies who are experiencing time linearly. Popping in and out, doing all the things that to me, I have already done!
