For those of you who weren't aware: Last night, Mizuki was killed by some sort of snake. The bites on his person are conclusive with snake bites, and unless any other strange creatures here can match the bite pattern, we can rule out other animals as causes. These bites, however, were marked with black suns.

I think you know what this means, but in case it's unclear: The False God has taken it upon himself to kill one of us.

This note exists as a notice. Mizuki, being Seaborn, should be immune to poison, but I found a powerful venom in his bloodstream. I'll give medical notes to anyone interested, as the effects are quite dire. With that being said, a statement needs to be made.

If you think you are immune to poison, you are not. This was demonstrated loudly and clearly without room for argument. Do not get bitten or scratched by anything. Do not let unfamiliar animals into your homes, and do not engage with them if you see them. If you get attacked, I advise you to put them down.

I'd hate to see more death here.

Also, as a reminder: The False God is not to be addressed by any other names other than the most derogatory things you can think of. Pure Vanilla covered this point and I will not be rehashing it at this time.

Unfortunately, it gets worse. Mizuki's not the only victim. White Lily Cookie and Clotted Cream Cookie were also attacked- Lily first, and then CC. They both display the same sun marks on the bite wounds, though they survived- I think because they were only bitten once?

Lily at least has passed out from everything. We're still tending to them.

Every day in this place gets worse.

What were the symptoms? Mizuki was dead when I arrived, and I'd like to know more so I can get a treatment underway. If it's not fatal from a single bite, that means it's less potent than I think it is, but at the same time people with poor constitutions such as White Lily and Harque might not survive the initial attack.

White Lily, at least, will have antibodies building up.

Immense pain, chills, hallucinations, ease of bruising... she wound up passing out from the pain from the looks of it. CC experienced similar symptoms but it looks like his hallucinations were worse.

As a note, lavender seemed to help mitigate it. I guessed it because Vanilla mentioned the false sun's dream threat including a scent of lavender.

( there's a couple other symptoms, but she wasn't able to observe them, nor was anyone in a state to communicate them. )

I'm going to throw entire vials of lavender essential oil at this thing until it cries.

Thank you. I'll note it. I might be able to make something to counteract the symptoms, at least. There are several types of venom that there is no known antidote for, but I'll do my best.

Thanks for letting me know. Do you think anyone would mind if I were to do a blood draw on Lily? Just a vial or two to analyse. Mizuki is Seaborn, so his blood is different, but Lily may have similar blood, and she seems to be the most affected.

It is a bold conclusion to say their reduced effects are solely due to single bites. Allergies, size, and physical condition all play key roles in how a poison spreads. Someone who is severely ill, for example, might succumb quicker.

Your confidence could belie a more deeper knowledge. And if what Pure Vanilla says is true, there is someone within our ranks working to encourage this creature.

did i state it as fact? as much as i hate to say it, if anyone was going to die from the bite it would have been the person with actual health problems of the victims. the bitch in the woods has also recently attacked me.

Going directly for one another's throats is ill-advised, yes, but remaining wary, at the very least, of those around us whose motivations we can't truly know is prudent.

Please, my friend, it was not her. She was not here when Lily first cried out. Nor when Clotted Cream was struck. The wounds were physical bites, as well, and she does not command the creatures that would lay such.
