Hiii it's Ain!! I have the flu or something haha. I didn't know I could get sick :O
How do you make soup? It's vegetables in water and then you put it in the oven at 500, right?

Wolfwood makes his way over and picks a soup at random, which ends up being something hearty but comforting like a potato or cream-vegetable soup or something. He hefts the pot and carts it over to the stove to get heated, because even if he doesn't often have access to such amenities back home, he knows how to use one. It'll take a bit of time to heat through, so he'll have to stand there babysitting it with a spoon for a bit.

...where's your dog at by the way? Kinda surprised he didn't try to tear through the door when I came in.

He scoots the blanket nest along the floor until he can see Wolfwood more clearly. Like a worm.]
I think he's digging holes in the rain. He really likes this weather. I guess it doesn't matter for him, 'cause he's a magical creature and all. He's been playing with Zinnia lately...

Guess that makes sense. Better be ready for him to come to your door soppin' wet and covered with mud, though.
[This is why he tries (key word: try) to keep Angelina in when it's storming like this. She would get the house SO dirty.]

[He is not even a little bit surprised. The similarities are uncanny.
Anyway he will get that soup warm enough to his liking that he thinks it's edible- not scorching, but not like cold either- and switch the stove back off so he can spoon some into a couple bowls for them both. He's not super hungry himself, but something something about eating together.
He'll drag his way back over, prosthetic clonking against the wood floor as he sinks back down next to Ain, offering him one of the bowls.]

Ain sits up from the blanket nest and takes the bowl, holding it in his hands for a minute too long because his fingers are cold, before he finally bothers to take a bite. Thank God other people here can cook. He was told that human remedies for colds are soup and that gross grape medicine, but Ain does not like the grape medicine so he's only doing the soup route.
At least warm soup makes colour return to his face bit by bit.]

[The door whips open.
Dachie stands triumphantly in the doorway, stanced up as fuck. He's sopping wet with his feathers and fur clinging to his frame, making him look fifteen times thinner than he actually is.
He sees Wolfwood.

[Oh my god he looks SO stupid. Look at him. Wolfwood snorts as he lifts one leg up against his chest, spooning some more soup into his mouth.]
T-minus five seconds before the whole living room is covered in water.

Then he stops, still stanced up and wet.
He looks at Wolfwood with his head-empty no-thoughts lookin' eyes.
And he begins to shake himself dry. Downfeathers go flying. Water sprays the both of them, but especially Wolfwood. Dachie fluffs up ten sizes afterwards and immediately sits on the corner of one of the blankets like :> ]

Wolfwood tries to shield his face with his arm, but it only does so much to stop the deluge of water he's been sprayed with. This is Angelina behavior, he should NOT be surprised, and yet here he sits...wet and frowning.
And now Dachie is loafed on the edge of the blanket, staring at him.]

Then...he'll reach over and sort of gently roll Dachie over onto his side, scratching his nails into his belly.]

Aww, but he's so cute, right? [Dachie simply huffs. He is adorable. Thank you.] Haha, I'm sure he wants to play with her and Unci again.
[As it is, he usually likes to play with Zinnia, but she is small and fat and lazy and does not want to fly around. She wants to perch on a shelf and coo.]
