[You know what? Beat just coming over to visit isn't at all surprising. In fact, it just makes Sparkling's grin that much wider as he opens the door to let Beat come in, and once he does, he'll pull him in for a hug.]

It's great to see you again! I was worried about you...how are you doing?

Beat's tail begins to fan the air hard and he returns it, lifting Sparkling off his feet easily so he can straighten out. And of course he knows how and where to hold to not crush any membrane on the wings.

But he will realign Sparklings spine for him. ]

Surprisin'ly?? Good. Like, I don't recall much between then an' now but I feel fine? Which is good, 'cuz I'm used to feelin' like poop after weird shit happens.

Beat instantly picks the pup up and snuggles her, mindful not to smear too much frosting off her little cake body. But he will squish the air out of her tiny cake lungs. Not too hard though. ]

I’ve been well. Keeping busy at Luca’s bar, mostly. I’ve been taking the time to try to come up with some new concoctions, but moreso in my off time…I doubt I should be peddling my own wares to customers that aren’t mine, you know.
