I have spoken with Beiwe, and regarding the sacrifices the wraiths demand:

It should indeed improve the weather to give the spirits offerings. They do not require living sacrifices. She believes they are attached primarily to emotion, but any offering should suffice. Prayer may also help, but that seems to be an observation on past customs on Beiwe's part.

We as a group have been specifically instructed not to sacrifice each other.

There are to be NO human, semi-human, humanoid, or sapient non-human sacrifices.

Strictly speaking, 'human' and 'sapient non-human' should cover everyone, but I wanted to be sure nobody got any ideas. It's a relief to have it explicitly stated by someone in authority.

I spoke directly to her shrine, as was suggested. Evidently it's common practice.

I didn't think to ask for any favors, but I'll keep that in mind the next time I go seeking out a god. Of course, it may be a very long time from now.

A lovely thought, unlikely as it is. It seems unnatural that conversation with the gods is such a simple matter to begin with.

Perhaps they stay out of our lives to maintain an air of mystery. It must be entertaining to see what ideas we mortals come up with.
