What do people do if they can't protect themselves here? I don't want to be stuck inside all the time, but I don't want to have to rely on other people either.

Before anyone says it, I'm not looking to learn how to fight. With all the weirdness in this place there's got to be some other way.

I've never tried to use a sling but it seems complicated. Maybe a slingshot. Still, knives are so handy! Totally worth learning.
