Okay, well... people say they're "making time" for someone or something but they say it in a bitchy way, right? Humans don't seem to like "making time", especially if it inconveniences them.

People "buy time" because they're stalling for something, normally. But if you have to buy time, you probably already had that time.

"The man who needs me doesn't know it yet" could be someone who needs more time. Maybe someone who's dying and hasn't found out yet? Like a terminal disease thing.

Does that make sense? :O

If you'd like a hint for the first one, I can tell you that it is in fact a physical object. Something that you can touch, something you can see.

I'm going to be honest with you, my first thought when I read it before I came up with "time" was "shoes", which I immediately knew was dumb. But you know how people spend money on shoes that they don't need? Aaaanyway...

Bigger than shoes! You do tend to wear shoes when you get put into one, if that helps at all.
