Ah, In light of the strange month we have all been having, and because I would like to discuss this topic while I am stuck in a form where I can do little about it, I would like to pose a question to the Grove, if ...if that is okay.

What is you relationship with music? What does it mean to you?

I can play the drums though. Music ain't my interest, I know better than to pusue something halfheartedly.

Ah, I see! I understand. Its one thing to be good at something, but another entirely to be passionate enough to pursue it.

Drumming is not an easy instrument to just pick up, though. That's quite impressive.

Oh, I am just curious about the Groves thoughts on such a thing, and thought a discussion may be of interest. Music is something I have always been passionate about.

Unitmate. I amwas an idol, and I was in an idol unit called ALKALOID.

Are you an Idol or aren't you an Idol? Just because you're here doesn't change anything.

I suppose that would depend on ones definition of an Idol. Idols are performers, entertainers, and they are tasked with giving the world something to smile about, something to lift their hearts, if only for a moment, when otherwise the world may be in turmoil.

So ...an Idol's image is of utmost importance. Who they present on stage and to change such a thing would destroy their career. Their reputation, their renown, an Idol is built upon these things, and to lose it, would, to many, mark the death of that Idol.

...I am afraid by home's standards I am no longer an Idol. I'm dead, my image has changed [And he is in a relationship, another utter taboo] I may never see home at all again, it is difficult to think of being an idol without the other members of my unit.

[He taps his pen for a moment.]

But my heart is still that of an Idol. The reasons I took this path, are still here. I do not want to give it up, even if the concept of such may not exist in this place. It is complicated.

[ Honestly, Katsuki respects this person deeply. Everything that is put down here sounds akin to what it means to be a Hero, in his own way. It's important to keep that presentation through it all. Whatever face you wear is what everyone is going to think of when you are a Hero. The same can be said of an Idol, Katsuki seems to learn.

This is fundamentally why Katsuki refuses to change who he is - because to him, winning and having pride is exactly the face he wants people to see and trust when he becomes a Hero. Someone confident, someone they can truly rely on.
