[Written ...surprisingly neat for someone who's hands are much different than they used to be. However, some might say the form Mayoi has been in has been not one of drastic change. Being awake at night, hanging upside down, siding in cool dark places, eating fruit...yeah.]

What is you relationship with music? What does it mean to you?

I get that. It's a lot of pressure to perform in front of people. I've never fainted, but I bailed on Ryan twice before we made it to our first real show. It's nowhere near as scary as it used to be, but I still feel like freaking out sometimes.

I don't think I could've done it if I was playing with a group of strangers. It's great you could come together to make it work under those circumstances.
